Bodycam Zombies: A Co-op Run Checklist
Plan a Bodycam Zombies session around ammunition, safe routes, area unlocks and power restoration, with a repeatable team checklist.
For your next run: identify a fallback route before the first wave, call out when ammunition runs low, and open new areas only when the team knows where to regroup. The Bodycam Steam description describes round-based co-op Zombies across multiple maps, with ammunition management, area unlocks and power restoration.
Before the first wave
- Look around the starting area and identify two routes: the path you intend to explore and a way back if the group is pressured.
- Agree on a short callout for “regroup”, “low ammunition” and “opening an area”. Bodycam's official description says there is no conventional ammo counter, so practice checking ammunition state before a wave instead of waiting for an on-screen number. One player can make the next-route call while the others confirm they are ready; this is team organization, not a required game role.
- Check what the current map actually shows about power and locked areas. Do not assume that a door, cost or switch shown in an older video still matches your build.
Use this decision loop each round
| Situation | Team action | Common failure to avoid |
|---|---|---|
| A wave is active | Keep an escape route clear and tell teammates when you change position. | Everyone retreating through a different route without a callout. |
| Ammunition is running low | Say so early, then decide together whether to hold position or explore an available resupply route. | Spending the last rounds while separated. |
| A new area can be opened | Confirm who is moving first and where the group will regroup. | Opening a route without checking what is behind the team. |
| Power becomes an objective | Follow the prompts and landmarks visible in the current map, then confirm the resulting change. | Assuming the switch order or location from another map. |
After a failed run, write down one cause: route blocked, team split, ammunition exhausted or objective unclear. In the next run, change one decision around that cause. This makes the guide useful even while exact map layouts change.
Map-specific steps need a current capture
This guide does not yet identify an Asylum or Village door, power switch or wave number. The existing official text confirms multiple Zombies maps but does not name a current route for those locations. A marked map would be misleading without a dated in-game capture from the same build. Check the active map and current Steam news before following a map-specific video.
